Have you always wanted to give bingo a whirl but can’t find anyone to come with you? Is the idea of going alone to a crammed bingo hall just a little bit scary?
Some people find it easier to start socialising online, and if you would like to play bingo without the awkwardness of meeting new people at the same time, then you should try wonder bingo.
They still do the bingo – ten games per hour, 24 hours a day – and the prizes. But they also have ‘social gaming’… which means you can make friends at the same time as playing.
When you play bingo, make friends or buy gifts, you get given Experience Points, and wonder bingo even has its own currency – Wonder Bucks.
There are eight levels in wonder bingo, and each time you reach a new level sixteen virtual gifts are unlocked. You can then use your wonder bucks to buy the virtual gifts that take your fancy for yourself or your friends.
From jewellery to holidays, the virtual gifts are not to be sniffed at, and just get bigger and better the more levels you reach.
Go and have a look on www.ohmybingo.com if you are looking for friends as well as bingo fun!

This year, it seems as if the X Factor is really difficult to avoid. It’s the same most years, but this year in particular you can’t seem to hold a conversation with any adult in this country without the mention of those two words: X Factor.
I haven’t been avidly watching the series and have dipped in and out instead, but while the contestants are pretty annoying I think the judges are the most aggravating aspects of the programme this year.
Cheryl in particular is infuriating. She’s still fairly young, she’s kind of fallen into jobs/success as she’s gone along, which is all well and good. But it’s the attitude that gets to me. She struts around as though she’s entitled to all of this success which, I for one, don’t think she is. She doesn’t have the knowledge, wisdom or experience to be telling other people how to start their career, so what’s made her think that she has?

Me and my friends are reaching that age now, where it’s not all about going out and drinking our body weight in vodka anymore. Come Saturday night, we’re just as happy sitting in front of the TV with a bottle of wine and some chocolate.
So when it comes to nights out, it’s not about choosing the nightclub, but looking for something a little different. And if you’re like me, then you might be interested to know that the Royal Ballet are going to perform at London’s O2 Arena in June next year.
It might not be everybody’s cup of tea, but if you’re looking for something a little different for your diary, then this could be it.

We really can’t get away from Robbie Williams these days. He’s no longer locked in his bedroom with his dogs and lovely wife, he’s out and about – mainly with the other Take That boys.
Robbie is enjoying being in the limelight again so much in fact that he doesn’t even mind getting up on stage in a panto.
His best friend, Jonathan Wilkes is currently starring in an adult panto in Manchester and when Robbie went along to support and watch, he treated the audience to a performance of that classic; Angels.
Not sure what to think about this one. But we do still love you Rob.

Captain Obvious strikes again.. This time to announce the breaking news that children who go to school within a block of a fast food restaurant tend to be fatter than those who do not.
The report showed that child obesity rose by 5.2 percent where a fast food restaurant was within one tenth of a mile of a school.
Eric N. Gioia, a councilman from Queens in America has called for a stop to fast food restaurants opening within half a mile of any school. Although this is way over in America, its not hard to see this kind of silliness spreading over the pond.
I guess I just hope my local chippy isn’t shut down.

For a festival that in the past has sold out in a matter of hours, Glastonbury seems to be hitting a bit of a dry spell.
The event’s organisers have opted to allow tickets to be pre-ordered a full six months early when sales last year were looking pretty grim (in comparison with the year before). They say that they are expecting a massive turnout this year, but I’m pretty sure they say that every year. They also made a big mistake asking JayZ to headline. Asking an RnB artist to a Rock gig is practically a sure way to make a lot of die hard fans very angry.. That said, the event was still better than previous years.
The tickets are available to pre-order for a £50 deposit a full six months in advance.
The event will be held on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June… Fingers crossed you all get tickets..

Most people have heard of Cardiff’s crazy Saturday night life. The combination of the University and the boozed up Welsh obviously make for a great photo opportunity as Maciej Dakowicz (nope, not a Typo..), a photographer who lives in Cardiff has found.

Capturing the lighter side of a night out, Maciej has managed to snap over fifty images of Cardiff’s Saturday nights. He has managed to capture the brilliance of a night out without focusing too heavily on the bad points.. It makes for a very interesting collection and a great insight into nightlife and the tom foolery people get up to.
Probably worth a look if you are interested. Search for Maciej Dakowicz Flickr.

Ok, so.. I have have just taken over this blog from my friend.. so you can expect some changes in the coming weeks.. With a bit of luck there will be a new template and some other stuff appearing soon.
Also, I figure I should write something related to the topic at hand.. Sooo,
I went the the Butley Ash pub a week or so ago, I honestly reckon they do the best pub grub in the Macclesfield area. Good quality steak and pretty reasonable prices. yummy.
Only thing that might put you off is the fact that it is right on the A523, between Macclesfield and Addlington. Note: By right on the road i mean practically a drive through.. Lorries wizz right past the door. can be a little loud and unnerving for a quite pub meal.
If anyone knows any nicer pubs in the Macclesfield area to eat at please leave a comment.
Thats all folks..
