Use Twitter to Get more Customers to pubs

Pub owners have started to realize the potential marketing benefits of using Twitter to try and “tweet talk” potential drinkers to pubs.

Pub owners are now using Twitter to try and connect with local communities.

If you haven’t heard of twitter, it’s basically an online social network (similar to Facebook) that has grown over 1000% in the past 12 months. Twitter allows users to post 130 character “tweets” that can be followed, commented on and re-tweeted by other users.

Over 6 pubs per week are now closing throughout the UK, I guess anything that looks like it could boost sales a little is a good thing.
